The Stables

We have boxes for 43 horses. The stables are all new or newly renovated with large and bright boxes fulfilling all requirements of the EU directives. Each box has an U-shaped opening in the door so that the horses can check out the action in hallway. Most of the boxes also have windows which can be kept open in the summer.

The horses are taken daily out to sandbottom paddocks either each morning or each afternoon, alone or together with another horse. In the summer horses can graze on our meadows, mares in their own groups and geldings in their own.

Our very proffessional staff is looking after the horses, taking them to the paddocks, cleaning their boxes and feeding the horses three times each day. We offer our clients a choice high quality fodder, locally produced oat, premium quality dried hay and freshly cut grass in the summer.

The riding hall and the riding course

Riders have free use of the newly buildt (2004) isolated riding hall with a riding area measuring 21m x 65m – moore than a fullsize dressage course.  The base is fine sand mixed with textile and woodchips. Automatic irrigation is by sprinkler. The riding hall seats about 200 persons.

The 30m x 70m outdoor riding course is fenced with a base of fine sand mixed with woodchips. This area is also irrigated with automatic sprinkler when needed.

Breeding

We have set aside 10 boxes for breeding mares and foals. The boxes are big and equipped with surveillance cameras so that the horseowners can keep an eye on their mares. In the summer the mares and the foals can graze on large meadows.

There are constantly several stallions in training at Boe, which gives the mare-owners a great opportunity to check out the stallions prior to making their decisons about which one to use for breeding.

Other activities

Boe Equestrian Center is constantly under development and many plans are in the pipeline. Presently we are running a small Stable Shop where our customers can get themselves necessary horse articles and suitable clothing for each season. On request we can also order in other articles such as saddles, head collars, riding boots, and special fodder all according to the requirements of our clients.

We have a small self service cantine in the Tilestable where you can get yourself a nice cup of coffe or tea and some light snacks. During competitions and other events we offer a wider choice of sandwiches or even a warm lunch.

Our clients can use our laundry service for rugs, blankets and bandages. The service is run by our staff, which means that our clients can leave their dirty rugs, blankets etc in the washroom, and pick up the clean ones from the drying room later. For this service we charge only € 15,-/month.

Our monthly boxrent is presently € 690,-/month and can change with changing fodder- and other prices.
